The V Physique Team
You're probably wondering how I'm different from any other Personal Trainer here? Well to answer this, let me tell you a little about me and why I became a Personal Trainer.
Firstly I love cake, secondly, I’ve been there and done it, I used to be overweight, unfit, not happy with how I looked and very much lacking the motivation to change. In 2008 I decided enough was enough and I hired my very own Personal Trainer, the smartest decision I ever made. I learned a lot, she kept me motivated, held me accountable and the results I’d had been chasing actually started to appear.
Having been both a client and a personal trainer, I know the struggle and I know how hard it is. On the upside I also know exactly how much help, motivation and support you will need along the way so this doesn’t happen.
I am very passionate about what I do and highly qualified. I specialise in body transformations and getting people stronger and fitter and also boxing and padwork. I also own a Sports massage practice and have a deep understanding of how the body moves, therefore, I also work with people pre/post operation, who have postural issues or with a sports injury.
As much as I specialise I also offer PT to anyone who simply enjoys training or wants to feel healthier and happier.
Believe me or not but I was once like you. AT the very start of my fitness journey. I had no idea what an RDL was or how to perform a deadlift properly. I was out of shape and was unhappy with how I looked and felt.
What did I do to get to where I am today? I hired my own personal trainer. I took part in the DNA transformation challenge, 9 weeks of hard training alongside a calorie controlled diet. I learnt so much during this process.
There were times when I wanted to give up when I thought was it worth it, but I kept looking back at photos to see how far I had come. That along with my personal trainer, Ant, kept me motivated to stay on track.
Now I am looking to give back to someone else a similar experience to mine. I gained so much confidence and knowledge from the process that I decided I needed to do the same. I became a personal trainer to help people fall in love with the process of transforming their bodies and lives through diet and exercise.
Is this something that excites you, are you ready to make that commitment? It wont be easy, I know I've been there, but I promise I will be there to support you through the process to help you reach your goals.
My main takeaway from my own is that consistency is key, training and diet will never be perfect but provided you put the effort in and have the determination to succeed I believe that you can.
